Geography study stac

This is a study stack of unit 0 of Mr. Cornelison's class

TermDefinition
mountains A large part of the land that rises high and has a peak.
hills A low rising piece of land of which is lower than a mountain.
river A large amount of water that travels in a stream-like way.
desert A large amount of land which is hot and dry and covers a large area.
cataract A lot of waterfalls falling together.
sea A large area covered by water and usually has a river flowing into it.
gulf A large body of water that is close to land and usually connects to an ocean.
oasis A habitable part of the desert of which usually is very big.
delta A large amount of flat-shaped "islands" that are clustered together.
valley A "pit" that is shaped and located in between mountains.
