Why do people come to and settle in Florida?

TermDefinition
culture The values, beliefs and other ways of life shared by a group of people.
colony A territory ruled by a distant country.
community A group of people who live in the same place.
industry A group pf business that provide a specific product or service.
latitude Measures the distance north or south of the equator.
longitude Measures distance east or west of the prime meridian.
mission A religious settlement or church
motivation The reason someone does something.
population The number of people who live in one place.
region An area of land with certain features that make it different from other areas.
compass rose Symbol on the map that tells which way is North, South, East, and West.
legend A map key, which tells what the symbols on the map represents. Example: a circled star may indicate the state capital.
