| plate tectonics | the theory that the Earths surface is divided into a number of plates which float independently over hot liquid rock ,forming new land patterens and causing earthquakes |
| climate | the average weather of a place over A period of over 20-30 years |
| vegetation | plant life that grows in an area |
| culture | the customs,ideas,beliefs,and a skills of people |
| physical geography | the study of a land and its features |
| human geography | learning about people and their ways |
| globe | the most accurate "pictures" of the Earth , it is a sphere with a map of Earth printed on it. |
