after the war the efects were Mexico gave Texas, California, Nevada, Utah, New Mexico, most of Arizona and Colorado, and parts of Oklahoma, Kansas.
What was the California Gold Rush? The California Gold Rush was gold was found in California.
Why do historians call the period 1830-1850 The Age of Reform? What issues did reformers address in this period? Because during this period there were many movements and changes focused on improving society.
Who was Harriet Tubman? Harriet Tubman was a woman who escaped slavery and then helped others escape for freedom
What women’s rights issues were discussed at the Seneca Falls convention of 1848? The women's rights that were discussed were gender equality, property rights, and vote.
Who was Frederick Douglass? He was a man who was born into slavery but then escaped to represent the rights of African Americans and women.
Define Abolitionists: A person who strongly favors doing away with slavery and thrives to end it as a whole.
