Reasons colonists were angry about the Proclamation of 1763: The colonists had just fought in a war, then the king finds out the native americans live there and he doesn’t want the colonists invading on their land, but the colonists are angry that they waited AND fought for that land.
Punishment for the tax collectors: The colonists got really mad at the tax collectors so they would burn their stamps,(in the stamp act) capture the collectors, and pour tar and feathers on them. This wouldn’t just hurt them, this would burn their skin off.
The British taxed the colonists because… British taxed the colonists because they were in debt and needed money to pay off The French and Indian War.
