why did inflation cause suffering towards Americans during the Revolutionary war? In order to pay for the army, the continental congress rapidly printed off money which decreased the value of the dollar.
why was Mary Pitcher so important in history? What did she do? She brought water to the soldiers and even worked the cannons when her husband was too tired.
