| Bill of Information | A written accusation by a prosecutor in court accusing one or more persons of committing one or more crimes |
| Simple Battery | Unlawfully touching another person with force or violence |
| Aggravated Battery | Battery committed with a dangerous weapon |
| Juror | Group chosen to decide guilt or innocence in a trial, or if a claim has been proved |
| Grand Jury | Panel of 12 citizens who serve for six months and decide if there's enough evidence to indict a person for a crime |
| Witness | Person who saw or heard events related to the event that is being tried in court |
| Expert Witness | a person with specialized knowledge, skills, education or experience in a particular field who is called upon to provide their expertise in legal proceedings to assist the court with understanding complex technical or scientific issues |
