Formal Education Learning that takes place in classrooms, following a set curriculum and grading system
Non-Formal Education Structured learning outside classrooms, focusing on acquiring skills and knowledge through organized activities
Department of Education (DepEd) Responsible for overseeing the educational system in the Philippines, manages various levels of formal education
Tertiary Education Higher education beyond secondary schooling, including Bachelor in Arts (BA/AB) and Bachelor of Science (BS) programs, offering specialized training in liberal arts or scientific and technical subjects, respectively
Graduate Education/Graduate School Advanced academic programs beyond the undergraduate level, including Master of Science, Master of Arts, and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), focused on specialized research and study in scientific, technical, humanities, social sciences, or arts disciplines
Public HEI Government-funded universities and colleges established either by national (State Universities and Colleges) or local (Local Universities and Colleges) authorities
