Who's Who

Army that fought for the North during the American Civil War. Union Army
States that didn't leave the union during the Civil War. Border States
A soldier who fought with the South or Confederate States during the American War. Rebels
Nickname for the country of the United States of America or the North during the Civil War. The Union
Group of 11 Southern states that seceded from the Union in 1860. Confederate States of America

Term used to refer to the Southern States or Confederate States of America Dixie (Dixieland)
