fireside chat | a report from FDR giving the American people an update and hope during the Great Depression |
sit down strike | a strike where workers sit at their work stations and refuse to work |
infrastructure | The basic physical and organizational structure needed for the operation and transportation of a society (roads, bridges, buildings) |
