Stamp Act first attempt by British to raise money by taxing colonial legal papers, newspapers, pamplets, cards, etc.
Quartering Act one of the Intolerable Acts in which colonists weere required to house British soldiers
Boston Tea Party incident in Boston Harbor in which crates of tea imported from Britain were thrown overboard to protest against British taxation without representation
