Hera (Juno) Protectress of marriage, women + children, always looking for cheating Zeus. symbol: peacock with 1000 eyes
Ares (Mars) god of war, hated by his parents + loved by Hades (underworld). symbol: vulture
Phoebus Apollo god of light, intelligence, music. Runs Delphic oracle. symbols: lyre, bow and arrow, laurel, chariot of the sun
Artemis (Diana) goddess of the hunt, protectress of forest animals. aka Phoebe. symbol: moon
Hermes (Mercury) messenger god, protector of travelers, (healing) symbols: winged sandals/hat, serpent twined staff)
Dionyss (Bacchus) dual god..god of wine. (wine brings joy, also brings savagery), comedy/tradgedy mask. symbols: wine, grapes, drunkenness)
Athena (Minerva) born alone of Zeus' head. god of wisdom and warfare. symbols: owl + armor
Hephaestus (Vulcan) born alone of Hera, patron of handicraft, formed achilles shield. symbol: anvil
Aphrodite (Venus) Goddess of love, beauty. born of sea foam. married to Hephaestus but loves Ares. symbols: cupid, dove
Cupid (Aros) most likely son of Ares and Aphrodite. power due to being able to control emotions. symbol: bow and arrow
Poseiden (Neptune) god of sea, earthquake, horses. 2nd to Zeus. (trident, three pronged spear)
Demeter (ceres) goddess of crops, mother of persephone (grain, fruit)
Hades (Pluto) god of underworld. symbol: money
