Equipment and non-immersible implements are disinfected

Step #Step
Step 1 Ensure electrical implements are not connected (unplugged)
Step 2 Identify proper cleaning agent and read manufacturer directions
Step 3 Follow manufacturer directions for mixing/usage
Step 4 Wipe with cleaning solution to remove debris
Step 5 Identify disinfectant that is bactericidal, virucidal and fungicidal; EPA approved for use in salon setting
Step 6 Read manufacturer directions for non immersible implement or equipment disinfection
Step 7 Follow manufacturers directions for mixing and/or using appropriate aerosol disinfectant
Step 8 Placed in a clean closed container, ensuring no contact with other items that have not been disinfected
Step 9 Disinfected electrical equipment stored in a clean area separate from other implements
