Poll Tax A tax that each person must pay in order to vote.
Prohibition Movement to ban (make illegal) alchohol.
Temperance The act of staying away from (Avoidance) Alcohol.
Suffrage the right to vote.
18th Amendment Amendment passed in 1918 that prohibited (made it agains the law) to manufacture, sale, and transportation of alcoholic beverages.NO ALCOHOL
19th Amendment Amendment to the U.S. Constitution passed in 1919 that allowed women the right to vote.RIGHT TO VOTE
