Vocabulary

TermDefinition
Numerator the top number in a fraction that represents the "part"
Denominator the bottom number in a fraction that represents the "whole"
Reciprocal the multiplicative inverse of a number; with fractions, the numerator and denominator are switched
Inequality a statement that contains the symbol greater than, less than, greater than or equal to, less than or equal to, there are many possible solutions
Line Segment a part of a line that has two endpoints
