Tiber River Ancient Rome was built on the banks of this river. The third-largest river in Italy.
Rome The capital city of the Roman Empire, today's Italy.
Conquer To get or overcome by force.
Defeat To win a victory over; beat in a game or battle.
Peak The top part of a mountain.
Mediterranean Sea A large sea connected to the Atlantic Ocean. It is bordered by Europe on the north, Asia on the east, and Africa on the south.
