| Amendment #2 | The Second Amendment protects the right to keep and bear arms. |
| Amendment #3 | The Third Amendment prevents government from forcing homeowners to allow soldiers to use their homes. Before the Revolutionary War, laws gave British soldiers the right to take over private homes. |
| Amendment #4 | The Fourth Amendment bars the government from unreasonable search and seizure of an individual or their private property. |
| Popular Sovereignty | A government that is made and controlled by the people. |
| Limited Government | An idea that government may only use the powers given to it by the people |
| Enumerated Power | People specifically given congress in the constitution |
| Reserved Power | power belonging only to the states |
| Concurrent power | power belonging only to the statesPower shared by the states and federal govt. |

| 1st Amendment | Congress makes no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting its free exercise. It protects freedom of speech, the press, assembly, and the right to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. |
