Neolithic Revolution A fundamental change in the way people went from hunting and gathering to agriculture. Led to permanent settlements
Nomadic having no fixed home and moving according to the seasons from place to place in search of food, water and grazing land
Obsidian A dark natural glass that forms when hot molten or semifluid rock when a volcano cools
Specialization The development of different jobs
Ice age The time period that consisted of long periods of extreme cold weather that began around 100,000 B.C. and lasted till about 8000 B.C.
Sedentary staying or living in one place instead of moving to different places
Tribal a group of people that include many families and relatives who have the same language, customs, beliefs and leader.
