Define materialism A scientific perspective on the world - viewing the world down to the smallest physical component
What are scientific reductionist? Scientists that view life as material - the world is based on particles that can be identified and argued. Reductionists don't consider the spiritual aspects of science
Define ethics The choices we make based on our values that create the highest well being in our personal and collective lifestyles as well as for our planet
Define consciousness The inner sense of "awareness with choice" that serves as energy by which we can make the most of our hopes and dreams - retains all your being (ideas, memories, values)
Define the subconscious mind Our interpretations, thoughts, what we see, how feel, etc - what makes our thoughts and feelings a possibility - we are not in charge of this
Define the conscious mind The experience maker - the subconscious informs the conscious mind - we are in charge of this
List the parts of the medicine wheel Physical (how we take care of our body), social (our community) intellectual (How we nurture our (sub) conscious)), spiritual (the deepening of our understanding of the universe)
