Atlantic Charter 1941 declaration of principles in which U.S. and Great Britain set forth goals.
Fascism Political philosophy that advocates a strong, centralized government.
Lend-Lease Act passed in 1941. Allowed U.S. to ship arms and other supplies w/o payment.
Allies Group of nations that opposed Axis powers.
Appeasement Granting of concessions to a hostile power to keep peace.
Blitzkrieg Sudden, massive attack.
Neutrality Acts Series of laws in 1935 and 1936. Prevent U.S. arms sales and loans.
Axis Powers Group of nations that opposed Allies in WWII.
Nonaggression Agreement which two nations promise not to go to war with each other.
