equator a line of latitude located at 0 degrees

absolute location the exact place on earth something is located
relative location describes how a place is related to another location
region an area with one or more features that make it different from surrounding areas
movement the movement of people, ideas, resources, and goods --push or pull factors
human-environment interaction humans adapt to, modify, and depend on the environment
