Colonist A member that settle in a new country or region
Pilgrims one who journeys in foreign lands
charter a formal document describing the rights, aims, or principles of an organization or group of people.
Indigenous any group of people native to a specific region.
Governor an official elected or appointed to act as ruler, chief executive, or nominal head of a political unit.
Indentured servant a form of labor where an individual is under contract to work without a salary to repay an indenture or loan within a certain timeframe.

New England Colonies the settlements established by English religious dissenters along the coast of the north-east of North America between 1620-1640 CE.
