Unlawful searches and seizures means No searches and seizures by the government without a warrant with probable cause

Due process of law means The state must respect all legal rights that are owed to a person -innocent until proven guilty -right to remain silent -etc.
VI. Sixth amendment Rights of the Accused
Rights of the Accused are right to a speedy, public trial right to a lawyer right to an impartial jury right to know who your accusers are and the nature of the charges and evidence against you. right to confront witnesses right to obtain witnesses
VII. Seventh amendment Trial by jury in civil case
Civil case vs. criminal case Civil case: 7/12 jurors, no jail only money Criminal case: 10/10 jurors, beyond reasonable doubt
VIII. Eighth amendment Cruel and unusual punishment - no extra punishment
IX. Ninth amendment Unnumbered rights - implied rights
X. Tenth amendent Reserved Powers
Reserved Powers means Powers that are not specifically granted to the federal government are for the States or people - limits federal government
XIII. Thirteenth amendent Abolished Slavery
XIV. Fourteenth amendment Citizenship/Equal protection under the law - all federal freedoms are freedoms within the states
XV. Fifteenth amendment African Americans right to vote
XIX. Ninteenth amendment Women's right to vote
XXVI. Twenty sixth amendment Right to vote at 18 years old
