Positive Behaviour for Learning at MTHS

Respect Listening attentively to teachers and classmates when they are speaking.
Compliance and Obedience Follow classroom, school rules and guidelines set by the teacher, school and community.
Punctual Arrive at school and class on time to minimise disruptions-and don't leave without permission.
Raise your hand! Wait to be recognise before speaking in class by raising your hand.
Appropriate language Use polite language and show good manners towards everyone.
Hygiene Keep all areas in the classroom and playground clean, tidy and organised.
Inclusivity Be inclusive and kind to all classmates and staff, regardless of their differences.
Participation Contribute and participate actively in class discussions and activities.
Responsibility Be responsible for your own belongings and keep them secure and safe.
School uniform Follow the dress code and dress appropriately for the school learning environment.
Kindness Show empathy and compassion-and offer help to classmates in need.
Harmony Resolve conflicts peacefully and report any bullying or harassment.
Vandalism Respect school property and report any damage or vandalism.
Accountability Take responsibility for your own learning and strive to do your best academically.
Excel Complete homework and assignments to the best of your ability.
Safety Wear the proper PPE in all practical class rooms.
Inspire Encourage others to listen, learn and to do their best.
Disruptive Behaviour Avoid disruptive behavior, such as talking out of turn or making excessive noises.
Productivity Maximise your time in class: listen, learn and complete tasks on time
Laptops Bring your laptops to school and learn about digital literacy.
