Light Microscope

Occular Lens contains a lens capable of 10x magnification
Revolving Nosepiece turns to change objectives
Objectives contain lens with additional varying levels of magnification
Stage platform with clips to support the slide
Diaphragm regulates amount of light entering scope
Light Source source of light directed through slide and into microscope
Arm holds the objectives above the stage, used with base to carry
Coarse Adjustment Knob brings objects in fast but rough focus by moving stage up and down (only use on low objectives first)
Fine Adjustment Knob brings objects in slow but clear focus
Base supports the microscope, used with arm to carry
On/Off Switch provides power to the light source
