Why were the Southeastern Native Americans called Mound Builders? because they built large mounds of earth that were filled with copper and stone artwork.

What type of civilization was the Maya civilization? Polytheism
What would the Maya civilization do for the Gods? they offered their blood and made sacrifices
What was the most advanced thing that the Maya civilization developed? writing system
What are possible reasons for the Mayan decline? overpopulation, drought, warfare, overuse of natural resources, and the Mayans lost faith in their religion and leader; god-king.
