What inventions improved communication? The Telegraph and the Telephone because they made communication way faster.
What inventions improved transportation? . Large steamships improved transportation by carrying goods from port to port.
How did America get stronger? How did America become self efficient? By the American system creating a tariff to protect and promote the industry, by creating a bank to foster commerce, and federal subsidies for roads, canals.
What is the Industrial Revolution? The Industrial Revolution was the transition from creating goods by hand to using machines. It also moved people from rural areas to urban areas so they could be closer to factories so they can get jobs. That is when savory was increased.
What is the Industrial Revolution? Part two The Industrial Revolution caused towns to turn into cities, and existing cities to swell, both in terms of population Increased domestic and foreign trade opportunities strengthened the economy.
What are the effects of the Industrial Revolution? The IR increased production and efficiency buy making products my machines, lower prices, more goods
What is sectionalism? Sectionalism is loyalty to the interests of your own region or section of country. It also was to separate different life stiles, social structures and political values of north and south.
What caused sectionalism? Slavery, cultural, Economic, and political caused it because everyone has/had different opinions of different stuff and they had to separate.
How did America Acquire Florida? Spain kept breaking into northern Florida and stealing crops, wile slaves kept breaking into southern Florida and stealing goods, so Northern Florida made Spain agree to Adams Onis Treaty, basically saying Spain had to sell their land.
How will the Missouri compromise set up America for future problems? I think that the Missouri compromise marked the beginning of the prolonged sectional conflict over the extension of slavery that led to the American Civil War
What is the Monroe Doctrine? The Monroe Doctrine warns European nations that the united states would not tolerate further colonization.
Why is the Monroe Doctrine important? because the U.S. government was worried that European powers would encroach on the U.S. sphere of influence by carving out colonial territories in the America.
