What is a push-pull factor? | A push or pull factor includes either pushing people to leave their homeland migrate to another region, or pulling and drawing them to the migrate to another location. |
How is migration traced through language? | Experts trace migration through language by studying how the language spreads to different countries or different locations. |
What is the cause of Migration? | Anthropologists have a logical explanation for the cause of migration which is that once these people had developed agriculture, they had been able to produce more food than they could even obtain because of their hunting and gathering skills. |
Do political conditions affect migration? | Yes, political conditions such as persecution or freedom encourage people to migrate or even stay where they are. |
What are the three categories for the causes of migration? | environmental, economic, and political. |
Who are the Bantu-speaking people? | The Bantu-speaking people were speakers in a related group of languages who had migrated from West Africa into most of the Southern half of Africa. |
Is Migration permanent? | Depending on the situation these people are in, migration can be semi-permanent or permanent moves. |
What was the result of the migrations that the Bantu-speaking people underwent? | The Bantu-speaking people underwent cultural diffusion and changes throughout Southern Africa. |
When did changes and effects occur during Migration? | Changes had occurred when the Bantu-speaking people settled into certain areas. They were not always migrating to places where they were unpopulated, instead they moved into some areas that were sparsely populated like the Mtubi and the San. |
