national recovery administration (NRA) ran the whole problem,
home owners loan corperation (HOLC) bought the morgages of many homeowners who were behind on their payments
farm credit administration (FCA) helped farmers finance their morgages
civilian conservation corps (CCC) combined roosevelts love of nature and commitment to conservstion witht he need to help the unemployed.
federal emergency relief administration (FERA) channeled money, a half a billion went to state and local agencies to fund thier relief projects
public works administration (PWA) another federal relief agency, began a series of construction projects to build and improve highways, dams, sewer systems, water works, schools and other government facilities.
civil works administration (CWA) hired workers directly and put them on federal governments payroll.

american liberty league its purpose was to organize opposition to the new deal and "teach the necissity of respect for the rights of person ans propety"
works progress administraton (WPA) headed by harry hopkins,
national labor relations board (NLRD) organixed factory elections by secret ballot to determine whether workers wanted a union.
binding arbitration a neutral party would listen to both sides and decide the issues.
commettiee for industrial organization (CIO) set out to organize industrial unions, or unions that included all workers in a particular industry, skilled and unskilled.
sit-down strike workers stopped working and refused to leave the factory.
social security act its major goal was to provise some security for elderly and for unemployed workers.
