Adrenomegaly Abnormal enlargement of the adrenal gland.
Pancreatolithectomy Removal of a stone in the pancreas.
Laparoscopic adrenalectomy Removal of an adrenal gland by means of a laparoscope ( instrument inserted in the abdomen for viewing)
Anticoagulant Prevents coagulation
Tonsillectomy Removal of tonsil
Embolus Mass of matter in the blood (blood Clot)
Reticulocyte Immature red blood blood
Sphygmomanometer Measure blood pressure.
Dysrhythmia Irregular heartbeat of the heart
Endocardium Tissue lining the inside of the heart
Superior vena cava Portion of the vena cava that gathers blood from the upper portion of the body(head and arm)
Transesophageal echocardiogram Record of the heart using sound waves performed by inserting the transducer into the esophagus.
Systolic pressure Pressure exerted on blood vessel when heart is contracting.
