martyr | a person who willingly dies/suffers for his/her beliefs |

The Ten Commandments | a set of laws given to Moses from God |
Why did the Roman leaders see Jesus and his teachings as a threat? | Roman leaders feared people would follow Jesus and not the government laws. They feared that conflicts over Jesus would start a rebellion against Roman rule. |
