(CCC)- Civilian Conservation Corps Temporarily employed 250,00 unmarried adults in reforestation and conservation jobs (parks, plant trees)
(CWA)- Civil Works Administration Provided $15 a week to 4 million workers in public works like roads and bridges
(FDIC)- Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation Government insures the banks for all deposits up to 100,000 (keeping banks from not failing)
(TVA)- Tennessee Valley Authority Provided long term (not permanent) jobs to workers to build dams, irrigation system in Tennessee Valley
