| Brahman | Is the one god that represents everything totality of the universe |
| Caste System | System of social classes social structure that is determined at birth and it cannot change in their lifetime |
| dharma | A duty they most fulfilled in their life |
| Hindu | Is someone who practices the religion of Hinduism |
| Hinduism | Is the oldest major river world religion that began thousands of years ago in South Asia, first (probably) Pakistan and spread to india |
| karma | When a person lives their life according to their drama they gain karma which will affect their next life |
| monotheism | Belief in one god. |
| polytheism | Belief in many gods |
| reincarnation (Samsara) | Cycle of rebirth. When a person dies, if they do not have enough karma to become one with Brahman, they will be reborn in a new life. |
| Vedas | Was an early book (probably the first) containing Hindu poems, hymns, and religious writings. |
| nirvana | Synonym |
| Samsara | Hindu belief on reincarnation |
| Moksha | Escape from the cycle of rebirth. If a person gains enough karma, they will become one with Brahman |
