Conflicts in the MiIddle East

What led to conflict in the Middle East? Great Britain and France partitioning the Ottoman Empire without acknowledging the ethnic and religious differences in the Middle East.
Why was Iraq invaded in 2003? There was reason to believe that Iraq was hiding Weapons of Mass Destruction. Also, to free the Iraqi people from Saddam Hussein's rule.
What started the Persian Gulf War? Iraq invaded Kuwait in order to gain control of Kuwait's oil reserves.
What terrorist group caused the 9/11 terrorist attacks? Al-Qaeda.
What groups constantly have conflicts against each other over land in Israel? Palestinian Arabs and Jewish Israeli.
What religious groups are constantly fighting over government control in Iraq? Sunni and Shi'a Muslims.
What event was the mass genocide of about 6 million Jews? The Holocaust.
What is anti-Semitism? Anti-Semitism is the discrimination and prejudice against Jewish people.
How did Arabs react to the creation of Israel? Arabs didn't approve of the creation of Israel because they were living in that area already. Also, Arabs don't recognize the state of Israel and they went to war.
When was Israel created? Israel was established on May 14, 1948.
