Supply The amount of product or service that is available
Demand How much of a product or service consumers are willing to purchase at a particular price
Scarcity A small and inadequate amount of a product or service
Surplus A quantity of goods that is much larger than needed
Conquistador A person who is out to conquer new territory
Exploration Traveling in search of new lands, ideas, and/or things
New World Includes North America, South America, and Central America
Old World A part of the world that was known to its citizens before they came into contact with the Americans, including Europe, Africa, and Asia
Europe Continent including the countries; France, Spain, England, Italy, and more.
Indigenous A person that is native or original to an area. For Example; The Native Americans were indigenous people of North America
Spices Very valuable in Europe in the 1500's because they were used to flavor and preserve food, medicines, perfumes, air freshening scents, and religious ceremonies
Voyage A long journey by seas
