Sociologia Estudia las caracteristicas de los fenomenos presentes en la sociedad.
Imaginacion Sociologica Ubicar a la persona frente a los cambios y las transformaciones que ocurren en el mundo, guiar su reflexión frente a esos cambios, a formularse preguntas y ofrecer respuestas que estimulen nuevas reflexiones sobre la vida social.
Metafora del Texto Soicla Está organizada alrededor de significados sociales, realidad que es construida a través de un complejo proceso de establecer e intercambiar significados y que la realidad social está siempre abierta a ser interpretada y reinterpretada.
Metafora del Cambio y permanencia Recoge la idea de que a pesar de que la realidad social cambia constantemente existen unos elementos de la vida social que permanecen en el tiempo y le dan a la sociedad su sentido de continuidad y permanencia.
Metafora del Poder Se piensa que los procesos que promueven el cambio y le dan permanencia en el tiempo a la vida social, están organizados alrededor de fuerzas o poderes que nos controlan desde afuera.
Metafora de la diversidad y diferencia Desarrolla actitudes que reconozcan la diversidad y las diferencias que existen en la sociedad.
