| Revenue | the total amount of income generated by the sale of goods or services related to the company's primary operations |
| Writ of assistance | a writ issued to a law officer (such as a sheriff or marshal) for the enforcement of a court order or decree |
| Resolution | a firm decision to do or not to do something. |
| Effigy | a sculpture or model of a person. |
| Boycott | withdraw from commercial or social relations with (a country, organization, or person) as a punishment or protest. |
| Repeal | revoke or annul (a law or congressional act). |
| Rebellion | an act of violent or open resistance to an established government or ruler. |
| Propaganda | information, especially of a biased or misleading nature, used to promote or publicize a particular political cause or point of view. |
| Committee of correspondence | longstanding institutions that became a key communications system during the early years of the American Revolution |
| Minuteman | a member of a group of armed men who favored independence of the American colonies and who were ready to fight at a minute's notice immediately before and during the American Revolution. |
| Loyalist | a supporter of union between Great Britain and Northern Ireland. |
| Patriot | a person who vigorously supports their country and is prepared to defend it against enemies or detractors. |
