| Resolution | The solution to a problem |
| Effigy | Model of a particular person, made in order to be damaged or destroyed as a protest or expression of anger |
| Boycott | Withdraw from commercial or social relations with a country, organization, or person as a punishment or protest |
| Repeal | Revoking or annulling a law or congressional act |
| Rebellion | An act of violent or open resistance to an established government or ruler |
| Propaganda | False information used to spread a particular opinion to the benefit of a specific political party or leader. |
| Committee of Correspondence | Longstanding institutions that became a key communications system during the early years of the American Revolution |
| Minuteman | Member of a group of armed men who favored independence of the American colonies and who were ready to fight at a minute's notice immediately before and during the American Revolution |
