Latitude an imaginary line around the Earth parallel to the equator, measures north and south
Longitude Distance east or west of the prime meridian, measured in degrees
Tropic of Cancer an imaginary line that lies 23.5 degrees north of the equator
Tropic of Capicorn a line of latitude that runs 23 1/2 degrees south of the equator
