Navigation Acts The act restricting colonial trade to England and decreasing dependence on foreign imported goods.
Parliament Representing the electorate, making laws, and overseeing the government via hearings and inquiries.

French and Indian War Seven Years' War, which pitted the North American colonies of the British Empire against those of the French, each side being supported by various Native American tribes.

Albany Plan of Union The _____ was a rejected plan to create a unified government for the Thirteen Colonies at the Albany Congress on July 10, 1754 in Albany, New York. The plan was suggested by Benjamin Franklin.

Benjamin Franklin One of the foremost of the Founding Fathers, he helped draft the Declaration of Independence and was one of its signers, he represented the United States in France during the American Revolution, and he was a delegate to the Constitutional Convention.
Battle of Quebec The Battle of _____ was fought on December 31, 1775, between American Continental Army forces and the British defenders of Quebec City early in the American Revolutionary War.
