Paris Agreement International commitment to reducing global greenhouse gas emissions.
Environmental Protection Agency National agency responsible for protecting the environment and people’s health.
White House Council on Environmental Quality Part of the Executive Office of the President; coordinates environmental efforts on behalf of the President.
Department of the Interior Part of the President's cabinet; protects natural resources; honors US commitments to indigenous people and researches natural resources.
National Park Service Cares for national parks and historic sites.
Kyoto Protocol 1997 international agreement encouraging developed and developing countries to cut back on their greenhouse gas emissions.
Montreal Protocol 1987 international agreement to stop the production of goods which deplete the ozone layer.
