Civic Literacy Module 3 Lesson 2 Key Terms

TermDefinition
Immigration People that leave their country to settle permanently in another.
Policy Laws, regulations, procedures, or administrative actions that lawmakers make to address certain topics.
Legislation A bill passed by the Congress.
Executive Order A declaration by the president or a governor which has the force of law but does not need Congress approval.
Political Party A group of people who share the same political views.
