| Bias | prejudice in favor of or against one thing, person, or group compared with another, |
| Source | a place, person, or thing that provides evidence. |
| Primary Source | original materials, regardless of format. Letters, diaries, minutes, photographs, artifacts, interviews, and sound or video recordings are examples of primary sources created as a time or event is occurring. |
| Secondary Source | works that analyze, assess or interpret an historical event, era, or phenomenon, generally utilizing primary sources to do so |
| Cornell Note | C-Notes, tool used to increase memory skills. |
| Essential Question | (E.Q.) A question that provoke intellectual and engaging discussion. |
| Notes | a brief record of facts, topics, or thoughts, written down to help you remember things. |
| Summary | a brief statement or account of the main points of something. 5 to 6 sentences. |
