Wealth In 2013, for every $1 of wealth held by median white family, African American had .08 and Hispanics had .10.
Housing As of 2014, 45% of Hispanic families and 41% of black families live in owner-occupied housing. For white families, that figure is 71%.
Health Blacks are 2 to 3x as likely than whites to suffer from hypertension and diabetes, leading to higher rates of cardiovascular disease.
Should Equalize Starting Conditions Blacks, Hispanics and Native Americans are not likely to be born into families with less wealth, education and income, in poor neighborhoods where high-quality schools are difficult to find, crime is high and other amenities unavailable.
