Crusades The Holy War between Christians and Muslims.
Holy Land Location that is important monotheistic religion. In current day, Palestine. Jerusalem is located there.
Jew A person who believes in Judaism
Muslim A person who believes in Islam
Chrisitan A person who believes in Christianity
Caliphate The title given to an Islamic ruler
Pope Urban II The Pope who declared the Holy War
Crusader A person who fights in the Crusade
Byzantine Empire The Eastern part of the old Roman Empire. Practice Eastern Orthodox Christianity.
The Great Schism of 1054 The splitting of Catholic and Eastern Orthodox Church
