First Battle of Bull Run The Confederacy wins both the first and second battle of Bull Run because the Confederacy was reinforced by soldiers through the battles and this scared the Union soldiers who retreated.
Battle of Shiloh This battle was fought by a church named Shiloh thus the Union named the battle after the church. The Union wins this battle due to reinforcements coming in from the river.
Battle of New Orleans The Union invades New Orleans and captures the city. They are now in possession of the gateway to the Mississippi river.
The Seven Days Battle The Union is not able to win this battle. The Union suffers many casualty and is forced to retreat.
