What happened to Carthage after the Third Punic War? Many Carthage were enslaved and army wasn't as strong.
How did the Hannibal lose the Second Punic War? They lost because Scipio's defected Hannibal's forces.

Why did Roman generals organize their soldiers into legions? The generals realized that small groups allowed them to attack from different positions and smaller groups could move quickly.
Why did conflict arise between the patricians and the plebeians? Over time, plebeians became frustrated because they had to serve in the army and pay taxes, but they did not have any power in the government.
Why was Cincinnatus an important figure? He fulfilled his civic duty by leaving his farm to become dictator but then returned to his farm when the crisis was over

1st Punic War: The first Punic war was fought between Rome and Carthage. This war lasted 20 years until Rome won in 241 B.C. (Carthage had to leave Sicily and pay a huge fine to Romans.
2nd Punic War: Hannibal sailed his army from Carthage to Spain. His men rode horses and elephant across the Alps and into Italy . Hannibal's army beat the Romans at Cannae and began raiding Italy. In response Scipio captured Spain and attacked Carthage.
3rd Punic War: Roman soldiers burned Carthage to stop it from getting stronger. Many people in Carthage were enslaved.
