Řekla, že ho pozve na oběd (na rande), což se nikdy nestalo. (ask) She said she was going to ask him out to lunch, which never happened.
Zápas, na který jsem si v pondělí koupi lístky, byl kvůli počasí odvolán. (call) The game I bought tickets for on Monday was called off due to the weather.
Na Michaela se můžete vždy spolehnout, je to jeden z nejzodpovědnějších a nejochotnějších lidí, které znám. (count) You can always count on Michael, who is one of the most responsible and helpful people I know.
