dynasty | a family of rulers who rule over a country for a long period of time |
empire | a group of countries or regions that are controlled by one ruler or one government |
Golden Age | a period of period of peace, prosperity,and cultural achievements |
gynaeceum | rooms in a Greek house set aside for women |
krater | a large vase used to mix wine and water in Ancient Greece |
monarchy | a form of government with a king or queen at the head who inherits the position due to his/her family |
oligarchy | a small group of people having control of a country |
