how was the Roanoke colony made? Settlers came from England. Granted a charter from the English king to settle on North America land.
where is Roanoke? Roanoke Island is located in the current state of North Carolina
were the settlers successful to survive? The English tried a couple times to settle in Roanoke but were unsuccessful.
What happened on Roanoke? and what are the theories some people believe? Theories on what happened to the people that disappeared- settlers joined other native tribes; possibly attacked; or tried to sail back to England.
was Jamestown the First, second, third permanent English settlement? or was it temporary. Jamestown was the first permanent English settlement. Settlers came from England.
were is Jamestown? it is Located in Virginia.
did the settlers have a hard time surviving when they got there? Settlers faced difficulties with starvation, disease, and tenacious relationships with natives.
